5th International School on Plasmonics and Nano-optics – Arcetri, Florence (IT)

March 23–27, 2026
The 5th edition of the International School on Plasmonics and Nano-optics will take place in Arcetri, Florence, bringing together PhD students, early-stage researchers, and leading scientists working on light–matter interactions at the nanoscale.
The program includes frontal lectures on both fundamental and applied aspects of Plasmonics and Nano-optics, complemented by scientific seminars highlighting the latest discoveries and application trends in the field. Participants will also take part in interactive learning sessions, fostering direct engagement with lecturers and stimulating multidisciplinary collaborations.
The School is organized and promoted by PLASMONICA, the Italian community of plasmonics and nano-optics, and a working group of the Italian Optical Society (SIOF) – the Italian branch of the European Optical Society (EOS).
