The Italian Society for Optics and Photonics (SIOF, Società Italiana di Ottica e Fotonica) was founded in 1991 with the goal of promoting the research activities in the field of optics and photonics and coordinate them all over the national territory by favoring the spread of knowledge and the organization of scientific events, schools, conferences, and workshops, with a special emphasis on the formation of young scientists.
Per il Premio di Laurea, il Consiglio di Presidenza SIOF si è costituito come commissione di valutazione. La commissione ha estremamente apprezzato il livello delle domande sottomesse, che ha valutato sulla base del voto di laurea, l’abstract della tesi e le eventuali pubblicazioni associate.
